How We Use Your Information

Local Processing

All financial data from Robinhood is processed entirely locally within your web browser. Specifically:

  1. Report Generation: Your portfolio and transaction data is analyzed to calculate P&L summaries, win rates, returns, and performance metrics.
  2. Display: Processed data is displayed in the Extension’s popup interface for your review.
  3. CSV Export: When you download reports, the data is formatted into CSV files that are saved directly to your device.
What “Local Processing” Means:
  • Data is processed using JavaScript running in your browser
  • Data never leaves your computer during processing
  • No financial data is transmitted over the internet to our servers or any third party
  • Data exists only in your browser’s memory (RAM) during the active session

Data Storage and Retention

Financial Data

  • Not stored persistently: Your Robinhood financial data is held only in temporary browser memory
  • Automatic deletion: Data is automatically discarded when you close the Extension popup, navigate away from Robinhood, close the browser tab, or refresh the page
  • No database storage: We do not maintain any database of user financial information

Extension Preferences

The Extension stores minimal preference data locally on your device using Chrome’s storage API:

  • Floating button visibility setting
  • Subscription status cache

This preference data is stored locally on your device only, is not transmitted to our servers, and can be cleared by uninstalling the Extension.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We Do Not Share Your Financial Data

Your Robinhood financial information is never shared with our company or employees (we cannot access it), advertisers or marketing companies, data brokers, or any other third parties.
